Most breweries have a patio. We have 18 holes.
In 2002 we designed a disc golf course into the pastures and oak groves around the brewery, and made it the first course at a brewery anywhere in the world. More than two decades later it's still a draw to our lovely valley.

Every August the course hosts The Legendary BoontFling, the tournament that turns Boonville into Northern California's disc golf capital for a long weekend.

How to Play a Round
The course opens with the gate at 8am and stays open until we close the gates at 8pm. The taproom opens at 11am — the classic Boonville move is a morning front nine, a pint at the turn, and a back nine with a fresh pour.
- Discs: Bring your own or borrow a loaner set from the taproom (don't call them frisbees).
- Beer: Anything poured in our taproom is welcome on the course — just no glassware out there. Our license doesn't allow outside alcohol anywhere on the property.
- Dogs: Welcome. So are kids, strollers, and carts.
- First tee: Just southwest of the taproom, off the parking loop. Grab a course map at the bar or download it below.
Rules of the Game
Never played? The whole rulebook fits on a coaster:
- Tee from the mat. Every hole starts on the rubber tee pad; each next throw is from wherever your disc comes to rest.
- Count every throw. Lowest total after 18 wins. Every hole here is a par 3, so par for the course is 54.
- Farthest from the basket throws first. The hole isn't done until the disc is in the chains or the basket.
- Out-of-bounds: past the fence at Anderson Creek on hole 6 is OB — add a stroke and play from where it crossed. That bank is private property, like much of the land ringing the course: never cross a fence to retrieve a disc without explicit permission.
- Mind your gaps. Give the group ahead a full hole, let faster groups play through, and never throw while anyone's in range.
- Leave it like you found it. Cups and cans go in the bins, and loaner discs go back to the bar.

Tees
Hole 6's out-of-bounds runs along the fence at Anderson Creek — everything past it is private property, so a disc that crosses stays there. Course layout subject to change. The map at the taproom is always current.
The Legendary BoontFling
For one long weekend every August the course becomes something else entirely: three competition rounds, thirteen PDGA divisions, glow golf under the oaks every night, creekside camping, a catered Saturday dinner, and live music loud enough to reach the back nine.

- Friday - Sunday, Aug 14 - 16: tournament rounds
- Music: Big Foot County + Marshall House Project (Fri) · Sakoyana + Caltucky Band (Sat)
- Entry: $195 flat across all divisions - includes music and camping

The Nineteenth Hole Is the Taproom
Grab a Pint, Grab a Disc
We brew a beer for this course. Hop Hyzer Ale was made for warm afternoons and questionable putts — it rotates through the taps a few batches a year, so if it's pouring, that's your round. Between batches you're in good hands: Boont Amber, rotating IPAs, and the goses we're famous for. Post-round: patio, lawn, and the kind of scorecard arguments beer was invented for.

Disc Golf FAQ
How much does it cost to play?
Nothing. The course is free; just walk on during gate hours (8am–8pm daily).
Do I need to bring my own discs?
No. Loaner sets are available in the taproom, and you're welcome to bring your own.
Can I drink beer while I play?
Yes, as long as it's ours. Beer sold in the taproom is welcome on the course (no glassware out there); outside alcohol isn't allowed anywhere on the property.
Are dogs allowed on the course?
Yes, dogs are welcome on the course and around the Beer Park.
Is the course good for beginners?
Very. Every hole is a par 3 between 159 and 397 feet, the terrain is walkable, and loaner discs are free. A relaxed round takes about an hour and 45 minutes — and nobody keeps score after the second beer.
Do I need a tee time?
No reservations, ever. The only exception is during The Legendary BoontFling (August 13–16, 2026), when the course is closed to public play.
When is the BoontFling?
August 13–16, 2026, with tournament rounds Friday to Sunday. Registration is open on Disc Golf Scene until August 7.
Is the course open year-round?
Yes, daily year-round. Big winter storms occasionally close it — call the taproom at (707) 895-2337 to check.
