Blending rapid-fire slide guitar, grooving upright bass, warm harmonies and heartfelt songwriting, Hillshaker create their own unique brand of Americana music. Featuring Clay Hawkins on guitars and Andrew Robertson on the upright, the duo’s fast, upbeat style swings from psychedelic roots/country to heavy old-time blues. What they call, “Late Night, Boot Stomping, Road Music from the Heart”. Whether it’s backyards, back alleys, barns, barrooms and banquet halls, these boys have been there. At the center of whatever crowd had formed. They hang their hats in Mendocino County, CA and count themselves lucky.
