Adam Manus and Colten Boatwright

Adam Manus and Colten Boatwright go way back—like, backyard-garage-band way back. Growing up in the same Leggett CA neighborhood, they were the kids who turned every sleepover into an impromptu jam session. Adam, already glued to the guitar by age eight, would hammer out simple riffs while Colten smashed the drums every summer until he got good enough. They butchered everything from Red Hot Chili Peppers tunes to early Vanilla Ice…but with a melody, laughing through wrong chords and cracked voices. Music wasn’t just fun—it was their language.
