Gose Beer

Originally created in Goslar, Germany in the early 13th century, Gose (pronounced: Gosah) is a traditional German-style wheat beer known for its tart and salty flavor profile created through open fermentation and water with a high saline content.

The Original American Gose

In 2013 the gose style of beer was nearly extinct. Feeling adventurous, we began to experiment with the traditional method and after months of pilot brews and refinement of our kettle-souring process, we finally created our original gose recipe which is the foundation for all of our flavored variations. It was an instant success and is credited with the revival and meteoric rise of the gose style.
