-
Q. Where, in my area, can I find your brews?
A. Our Distributors are the best folks to answer that question, as the retailers are their direct customers, not ours, and the retailers maintain the lists of their accounts. Use our Beerfinder search engine to find a distributor near you, and ask them for retailers that carry our brews. On the Beerfinder, we do have a retailer search option, but it is fairly new and retailers list themselves, so it's far from complete.

Q: What's up with this year's Boonville Beer Festival?
A: It's a yearly festival held in early spring, but the date changes each year. We usually have in the neighborhood of 55 breweries represented, mostly from the West Coast, but often from more farflung areas (Alaska, Hawaii, East Coast, Canada, etc.) as well. All profits are donated to Anderson valley non-profit organizations. For more or current info, please go to the
Beer Fest page.
-
Q: I collect labels, (coasters, bottlecaps, posters, signs, glassware, etc). How
can I get some?
A: Since the introduction of the internet, requests for labels have skyrocketed, and they come from all over the globe. We decided that we could no longer honor all those requests, as the labor and postage costs were becoming significant.
To defray those costs, and still offer our labels to serious collectors, we now offer them through our virtual giftshop, which you can access at http://avbc.catalog.com. Or CLICK HERE to go directly to the label and coaster section.
-
Q: Why does the bear on your label and six pack have antlers?
A: It's not a bear. It's a BEER. Still don't get it? Go to the
Legendary Boonville Beer
page.
-
Q: What are the brewery or pub's hours/days of operation?
A: We sold our former pub, the Buckhorn Saloon, in 2000. We now have a tasting room / pub at our Visitor Center, here at the brewery. They are generally open 11:00 AM - 6:00 PM (or later) each day. For more details, go to the
Visitor Center
page.
-
Q: Are there any hotels (motels, camping) in the Anderson Valley area?
A: There are no large chain hotels or motels in the Valley. Lots of B&Bs and
inns, though, and camping options. For an listing of these, go to the
Lodging
page, but make sure you call ahead first for current rates, services, and availability, as some info may be outdated and we cannot guarantee the info's accuracy.
-

Bahl Hornin'
(or another Boontling word) mean?
A: Bahl Hornin' means "Good Drinking" in Boontling, a lingo made up by valley residents in the late 1800's for a sampling of the lingo's glossary, go to our
Boontling page, or to read a short story in Boontling (with English translation) check out the Brightlighter's Jonnem.
