Position Title: Barrel Technician
Job Description:
Careful handling of barrels, forklift operation, filling & evacuating barrel aged beer, barrel sampling, and sensory QA/QC.
Reports To: Director of Production, Director of Brewery Operations

Physical Requirements:
Standing for extended periods of time
Safely handling hot water, pumps, and brewing equipment
Safely handling chemicals and properly using safety equipment (PPE).
Crouching, ducking, and climbing stairs several times per day.
Lifting/carrying brewer’s hose (50+ lbs).

Qualifications:
Experience in a brewery or production environment.
Familiarity with large-scale brewing techniques & safety practices.
Experience or certification with Forklifts is a plus.
Formal education or training in brewing science is a plus.

Position Title: Brewer
Job Description:
Operate a custom 100bbl brewhouse. Early mornings, late nights, and/or weekend shifts.
Reports To: Lead Brewer, Director of Brewery Operations

Physical Requirements:
Standing for extended periods of time
Safely handling hot water, pumps, and brewing equipment
Safely handling chemicals and properly using safety equipment (PPE).
Crouching, ducking, and climbing stairs several times per day.
Lifting 55lbs above head height repeatedly.

Qualifications:
Experience in a brewery or production environment.
Familiarity with large-scale brewing techniques & safety practices.
Brewing School or some other formal brewing education is a plus.
Formal education or training in brewing science is a plus.

etc. Early mornings, late nights, and/or weekend shifts.

Packaging Manager
Anderson Valley Brewing Co is looking for an experienced packaging manager. Applicants MUST have both managerial and packaging experience. The position is full time salaried, with benefits.

AVBC was established in 1987, it is located in beautiful rural Northern California within the town of Boonville (pop. 1280). As of 2015, the brewery’s volume is approximately 55,000 barrels in bottles, kegs and cans. The brewery has steady 1- – 15 % growth each year. The brewery sits on 28 acres among vineyards and ranchland, and has its own water and waste water facilities. It is a leader in California in environmentally responsible production.
